Screen Print Your Own Tote Bag or T-shirt!

Make Your Own TBTN Rally Poster!

Mindful Coloring (In or Outside the Lines)

Re-Use T-shirts to make dog toys!

Come to New Roots to screen print your own tote bag or t-shirt for Sexual Assault Awareness Month! Local artist Laura Rowley will be teaching us to screen print our own bags with 3 designs from our Take Back the Night art contest! We will have bags available to print, but you’re also welcome to bring your own cotton tote bags or t-shirts from home to print on (only light colored fabrics as we’ll be using dark inks). Sexual Assault Awareness Month is a national campaign to raise public awareness about sexual violence and educate communities on how to prevent it.

There will also be supplies to create your own poster for the Take Back the Night Rally on Friday April 26th (6pm on the Ithaca Commons), and consent themed Mindful Coloring activities.

Laura Rowley is a locally based educator and book artist. She enjoys teaching book, paper and printing arts to all ages and shares a studio space at Revival Book Arts in Trumansburg.
