Finger Lakes ReUse opens second location

Finger Lakes ReUse announces the Grand Opening Celebration of its second location at 214 Elmira Road in Ithaca will be held from Wednesday, April 6, to Sunday, April 10. The public is invited.
 
The celebration will include a ribbon-cutting with the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. There will be refreshments and storewide deals for the duration of the event. In addition, there will be daily tours and the beginning of the Great ReUse Raffle, where customers can start purchasing raffle tickets to win a 2011 Dodge Dakota pickup truck. Tickets are limited.

Finger Lakes ReUse operates two nonprofit Community ReUse Centers, encouraging high-volume reuse of materials through convenient and accessible locations, creating and supporting job training opportunities and living-wage jobs, and teaching repair and reuse skills.
