Agway Ace Hardware owners have announced their agreement to sell Ithaca Agway Ace Hardware in Ithaca to the Aubuchon Company.

Agway Ace Hardware owners, Andy and Marna Boerman, recently announced their agreement to sell Ithaca Agway Ace Hardware in Ithaca, New York, to the Aubuchon Company.

“Andy and Marna have spent the past 25 years shaping Agway Ace Hardware into a fixture of the Ithaca community,” says William E. Aubuchon, IV, president and CEO. “Their commitment to service, their agricultural roots and the way they’ve grown the business while staying true to its heritage is exactly the kind of legacy we are proud to carry forward. We’re excited to welcome the Boerman family and their entire team into ours.”

Following a settlement on Dec. 18, the store will continue to operate as Agway Ace Hardware and Aubuchon Company will operate 133 stores across 11 states.

“It has been one of the great privileges of my life to lead these stores and serve the customers who have supported us for so many years,” Andy says. “What began as a farm supply store has grown into something much bigger, thanks to our incredible team and the loyalty of our community. Knowing that everyone on our team will remain in place, including my daughter Maddie and I, made this transition feel right.”
