Letters: Vote for Granison

I write to support Henry Granison as District 3 representative to the Tompkins County Legislature. I have known Henry Granison as a neighbor and friend for 15 years. Among his qualifications is the – sadly increasingly rare, yet ever important – virtue of listening rather than just speaking. I am confident we will be well served by Henry’s values, intellect, attention to detail, and his devotion to duty.

Henry is committed to protecting and providing for those most in need in our community. His past work experience as an attorney in many different capacities (in law firms, at Cornell Law school admissions and in a government legal ethics office prosecuting attorneys for ethics violations) has prepared him to do so on behalf of our district and neighborhood. He understands precisely how laws affect people’s lives in the most basic ways, whether to fund important programs for people in need or to provide services that we all need to maintain the social fabric of our community.

Please vote for Henry Granison for District 3 representative on September 12.
