AmeriCU Credit Union is proud to connect 12 deserving high school seniors, continuing college or vocational students with a $1,000 scholarship toward their education. The credit union’s scholarship program invests in the future of our communities and provides valuable assistance to students pursuing their educational dreams.
The scholarship program is open to all members of AmeriCU Credit Union who will attend an accredited college, university, or other institution of higher learning on a full-time basis during the next academic year. Scholarship recipients are chosen by a committee and award winners will be notified by May 15, 2026.
Applications are quick, simple, and entirely online:
- Members must fill out a mobile-friendly, online application.
- Members must include a copy of their college entrance essay or a short-form essay of 600 words or less with details of their plans after college or what the credit union philosophy of ‘people helping people’ means to them.
“At AmeriCU Credit Union we are proud to support our members as they take the next big step in their education. We love seeing them dream big and are happy to help offset their college expenses,” says Jaclyn Lawrence, AmeriCU Volunteer and Supervisory Committee Member. “We encourage students across all of the regions we serve to participate.”
Applications are available through the credit union’s website. Applications are open now through March 15, 2026. Individuals interested in becoming an AmeriCU Member can connect by visiting the credit union online or at the nearest financial center. To apply, visit www.americu.org/scholarships.
