The Ithaca Farmer’s Market was recently voted the best farmer’s market in the Newsweek Readers’ Choice Awards.
Each season, visitors from all around the world flock to the Ithaca Farmers Market because a
group of people in the community decided to come together and build something unique over 50
years ago.
Operating continuously since 1973, the Ithaca Farmers Market offers local shoppers and visitors
alike three opportunities a week to purchase a wide variety of products that have been produced
within thirty miles of Ithaca.
While visiting the market people get to meet the farmers, artisans, chefs and those who work
closely with them directly while shopping at the market.
Recently the Ithaca Farmer’s Market took first place in the 2025 Newsweek Readers’ Choice
Awards contest for Best Farmer’s Market.

The market takes place on the waterfront each weekend on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Pavilion at Steamboat Landing is located at 545 3rd St.
Wednesday Market on East Hill is located in a grassy field next to Walgreens at 330 Pine Tree
Road from 3 to 6 p.m.
