Letter to the editor – Vote Lovejoy and Duthie for Lansing
Lansing NY town board election: Vote Lovejoy and Duthie for honesty, transparency, and accountable leadership in local government.
The Lansing Town Board has betrayed the trust of the people who elected them. Their actions have not just been careless; they have been deceptive. Time and again, the board has lied to residents, concealed information, and manipulated the truth to push their own agenda. This is not governance. It is corruption in plain sight.
When elected officials deliberately mislead the public, they forfeit the right to hold office. Lansing deserves honesty, transparency, and leadership guided by service to the community, not by personal ambition or private deals.
That is why I urge every voter to write in Joe Lovejoy and John Duthie. These are men of integrity who will speak the truth, stand up for residents, and bring accountability back to our town government.
If we allow this current board to continue unchecked, we send a message that deceit is acceptable in Lansing. It is not. On Election Day, make your voice heard. Write in Joe Lovejoy and John Duthie and help restore truth and decency to Lansing.
