Letter to the editor – Vote for Reilly and Webb

We are so fortunate to have excellent candidates running for the right reasons – because they want to work for the good of their constituents and the country, not to benefit corporations and the rich. 

Josh Riley, who is running for Congress, and Lea Webb, seeking a second term in the State Senate, are such people. I so admire them for their willingness to serve. 

Josh will champion causes from reproductive freedom to protecting social security and expanding access to healthcare to fighting corporate power to control politicians. With that in mind, Josh is taking no money from corporate PACs to fund his campaign. 

Lea is an incredible force of positive energy. She has an impressive record of getting laws passed supporting access to housing, environmental protection, funding public education, programs for small businesses and working families. 

Getting these two elected is key to furthering actions at the state and national level that will move us forward towards a healthier and more just and equitable future.
