Letter: Vote for Leonardo Vargas-Mendez and Greg Mezey

Vote next Tuesday November 2 for Leonardo Vargas-Mendez for Dryden Town Board and Greg Mezey for County Legislature representing the western side of Dryden.  I have worked with Leonardo this past year on the Town Board and he and I are committed to securing affordable housing in our community.  Leo spent 30 years at Cornell as director of the University’s Public Service center connecting students with volunteer agencies locally and around the world.  His service on the Board of Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services (INHS) shows that he is committed to building affordable and sustainable communities.
Greg Mezey is running to fill the vacancy left by Martha Robertson who is stepping down after five terms as a county legislator.  Greg strongly supports the Arts, serves on the County Tourism Planning Board and has a background in finance. As a Legislator, he plans to be a strong advocate for more affordable workforce housing, child care services and investments to support small business. Greg has a strong commitment to public service and will provide great service to our community.
I urge you to vote for both Leonardo and Greg as they also support my goals as your Dryden Town Councilperson.
