Letters to the Editor: A Clear Choice

This year we have an opportunity to elect a representative for the 23rd district who will represent us all. Tracy Mitrano has not accepted campaign money from the PACs or big corporations, leaving her unindebted to big money interests.  She can actually represent the people in our district.

Tom Reed likes to call people from Ithaca EXTREME liberals. Yes, we are that. We are extremely worried about the way he has voted to reduce affordable health care programs for the people of New York.  We are extremely concerned that he thinks giving people an extra few dollars from the tax cuts makes up for the millions of dollars added to our national debt.  We worry that he has no understanding of climate change and votes right along with the Trump administration agenda. And, Reed is EXTREMELY lame when he insists he is looking out for all the people in his district.  What has he done for us lately?
These concerns should be everyone’s concerns.
