Local races offer refreshing break from national campaign

Despite the interminable national campaign we’ve endured, it is refreshing to remember the other eager, qualified, hard-working individuals ready to serve us. Matt Van Houten, Leslie Danks Burke, Barbara Lifton and John Plumb have demonstrated their commitment to Tompkins County and I look forward to voting for them November 8.
