Nixon visits Ithaca

Democratic candidate for Governor and former actress Cynthia Nixon came to visit the voters of Ithaca on Sunday, June 3 at Argos Inn. To start, Nixon assured residents that she knew how to spell Ithaca after a press release from her campaign was sent out spelling it as Ithica.

After telling event goers why she was running for governor Nixon sat down with four local progressives to talk about how to address environmentally hazardous sites like Elmira High School, where she stands on the issue of safe injection facilities, how to lower the tax burden that state residents face, and how she could support local farmers and ranchers who make up a large part of the local economy.
