Chris Allinger, longtime 103.7 Q Country morning host, has announced his last day on the air will be Aug. 29. Bobby Bones will be his replacement.
After decades of waking up the Finger Lakes, longtime WQNY (103.7 Q Country) morning host Chris Allinger has announced his official retirement date. His final morning show will air on Aug. 29 and will mark the end of a remarkable era of warmth, wit, and connection with local listeners.
Allinger has been a familiar and trusted voice in the region, delivering not only country music but
also community spirit, charitable leadership, and friendly companionship to thousands of morning routines. As he and his wife Brigid now step into retirement together, WQNY is proud
to celebrate their contributions to the station and the community.
To continue the tradition of top-tier morning radio, 103.7 Q Country will welcome The Bobby
Bones Show as the new morning program beginning Sept. 1. Heard on over 150 stations nationwide and already a weekend favorite on Q Country with his Country Top 30
Countdown, Bobby Bones brings a fresh, high-energy blend of today’s country hits, artist
interviews, and engaging conversation.
