Ulysses Supervisor Katelin Olson has shown herself to be an experienced leader who is committed to maintaining transparency and inclusivity in all Town government operations. Experience matters in local government, Supervisor Olson’s background in grant writing, fundraising, community engagement, and City and Regional Planning makes her a thoughtful leader of the Town.

Supervisor Olson led the initiative to make the Town building ADA accessible. With improved accessibility at Town Hall, everyone can now attend meetings in person and easily visit the Town Clerk for important business. Supervisor Olson has enhanced public transparency of Town operations by making Town meetings remotely viewable, and available on the Town’s YouTube channel.

Lately we have experienced climate change locally with rapid rain events which can lead to flooding. Katelin Olson has worked with the Town Board to secure $2.8+ million in grants for bridge and culvert infrastructure which helps to address damage from flooding. Due to the grants secured by Olson and the Town Board, Ulysses continues to have the lowest tax rate in Tompkins, Schuyler, and Seneca Counties.

The Town of Ulysses has benefitted from the collaborative leadership of Katelin Olson which has brought people together to find practical solutions to multifaceted complex  issues.

Join with us in voting for Katelin Olson for Town Supervisor!
