Town residents form new group ‘Securing Lansing’s Future’

Securing Lansing’s Future introduces a new community group advocating business-friendly policies, sustainable growth, and economic prosperity.

A new community group is introducing itself in Lansing, with members describing it as “an exciting new initiative that we believe will be of great interest to many of you: Securing Lansing’s Future.”

“Our community stands at a critical juncture, and the decisions made by our town board in the coming years will have lasting impacts on Lansing’s economic vitality, environmental stewardship, and overall quality of life. With this in mind, we are forming a group dedicated to ensuring that our local government includes voices that reflect our shared values and vision for Lansing’s future,” stated a recent press release by the group. 

Securing Lansing’s Future lists the following as its core principles:

Opposition to the Proposed Moratorium: Advocating against policies that would stifle growth and opportunity

Business-Friendly Policies: Supporting an environment where local businesses can thrive and create opportunities

Environmental Consciousness: Promoting sustainable development and responsible stewardship of our natural resources

Smart Growth: Encouraging thoughtful development that enhances our community

Economic Prosperity: Fostering initiatives that bring jobs, investment, and financial stability to Lansing
