A Bat-Hound …?! Yes, back in the early days of Krypto the super-dog (the 1950s), super-pets were popular enough that even Batman had a four-legged sidekick! Bat-Hound was hilariously re-imagined for the 21st Century in the animated movie The League of Super-Pets (2022). Join in at the meeting on Tuesday, 9/2/2025, of the Comic Book Club of Ithaca, where we will close our perusal of The League of Super-Pets. A quick recap of earlier scenes from the movie will precede the video, and a nostalgic look at the super-pets from back in the day, will follow!
The Comic Book Club of Ithaca — the oldest continuously running comic book club in the country — is a registered non-profit organization. The Club meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the month, and meetings are free and open to pop culture fans of all ages. For more information, see the Club's website at comicbookclub.org, which includes links to the Club's Facebook page, and to other events such as ITHACON, the local, annual comic book convention.
