With great joy last year, the Night Eagle Cafe presented the Jim Murphy Celtic Christmas Coat Drive and Benefit Concert for Loaves and Fishes. Six Mile Craic and members of Traonach, along with other members of the Ithaca Celtic Music Community, came out to support the effort. It was such a success that it’s become an annual event in Jim Murphy's name. On the evening of Saturday, December 13th we will again celebrate with an eclectic collection of Celtic musicians performing as groups, soloists, small ensembles, and concluding with an open Irish session. All members of the Liquid State and Watershed sessions are welcome to come and make a joyful noise with us. Special guests include Mark Bickford, Nikolai Ruskin, Pamela Goddard, and Doolin O'Dey with more surprise guests to come. COME ONE COME ALL and let us support the work of Loaves and Fishes. The Night Eagle Cafe, as ever, thanks the Savage Club and the Lansing Performance Hall for their ongoing support. Donations, and outerwear for the coat drive, taken at the door.
