The Cherry Arts is delighted to present the English-language premiere of the award-winning comedy The Weight of Ants by David Paquet.

This outrageously funny and deeply moving play finds two teens at “one of the worst high schools in the country.” Joan and Olivier couldn’t be more different—except they both feel like they’re the only ones upset that the whole world is going to pieces.

When the fates bring them together, they decide to take matters into their own hands. The Weight of Ants offers many laughs but no easy answers, as it dives fearlessly into the urgent question of what individuals can do in a time of crisis.
